[T]he iPhone includes the Stocks app by default, because Apple decided that checking stocks is a very important thing to do. So important in fact, that no user should be able to delete Stocks from their phone. I haven’t found any data on the total percentage of the population that owns stocks, but I can’t imagine it’s bigger than the percentage of people with disabilities or a menstrual cycle.
